Cheap, but I won't purchase again. Okay for a home type setting where my 6 year old wants to print out things - not so good for contracts at the office. Product did not come in orginal packaging (no big deal.). but the cartridge leaves grey/black lines across the paper.
This item is advertised as original HP toner. And what I received is an aftermarket toner, in a completely different packaging than the one pictured.Buyer be aware.
They showed a HP product but they sent a generic product False advertising
Brother support then recommended me to take the printer to a local authorized repair center to check out. The printer was still telling me there was a toner cartridge problem. Why go anywhere else now for my printer supplies, right. I knew the owner, Gary, through the message bases back then. I ordered a second cartridge just to see if it was the refilled cart or my printer. I have never had a hand extended to me like this company did for me this past summer. I got a full credit refund back on my credit card and am happy to say that I have since done business with Databazaar with their fast shipping. Wow.
Scouring over the printer manual and working with Brother and their support department, there was no answer to the problem I had. I want to tell a story about this excellent company. I get a call a few days later and the person was telling me that the printer is not economical to repair. I have heard those words before so I knew what I had to do. Turns out this company, Computer Corner here in Tampa, Florida has been around since the days of computer bulletin boards.
Okay, I'm on my way down. I was astounded that the owner replied back and said that wouldn't be a problem. Just tell 'em that Paul in Tampa referred you. I decided to try my luck and I emailed Databazaar when I got home and asked if I could return the unused but open package toner cartridges after explaining my printer is beyond repair. I thought, oh boy, I'll get a huge charge just for checking this thing out and then I would have been better off spending that money toward a new printer. I drove down and picked up the broken printer and thanked the person at the counter for their service and headed home. I thought I had an empty toner cartridge so I ordered a generic cart from Databazaar in Miami.
Okay, I leave the printer off for a couple of days as the tech is out of town. I called the local repair shop and they offer a free printer check. After the second cart did not work I began my investigation. I thought, what the heck.
I'll definitely buy this again at this price. Great price for the cartridges, way cheaper than OEM. Printed a few hundred pages so far, can tell no difference over OEM cartridge, not sure why anyone would pay more for the same thing.
